Just gave a varc sectional. Cant believe all my attempts have gone wrong. I usually score decent enough in varc. But now, after scoring -6, im starting to lose confidence. Any tips to get back the confidence?

Honestly i'm enrolled in some other coaching as well i score between 32-37 in their varc sections but here in cracku sectionals i score between 12-18 only. Please dont judge your scores. judge the difficulty level and then analyse your accuracy and attempt rate.

I feel Cracku's VARC section is a bit tough compared to the actual paper. My advice would be to taper down your attempts and just get 2 RC's correct with great accuracy , this will surely build your base to accurately choose your options and from there you can increase it to 3 or even 4 RC's.

not sure if it helps but do not try to do everything in every section, try and get 5 questions correct in every section consistently and build from there. just 5 questions out of 24 in VARC, take small steps

Attempted CL Mock yesterday Varc score 49, Today Cracku Sectional-10 Varc score 12. Sotimes I even doubt the explanaitons that are there for cracku varc questions. Focus on your skills and keep practicing you will be doing just fine during the exam.

Well, I ran into a similar problem what helped me was solving a smaller amount of questions with written keywords from the given passage.

read the passage
Write keywords associated with different paragraphs.
Then read the questions, go to the appropriate paragraph, and reread it. 
Only then read the options and try to eliminate options.

This is very tedious and time-consuming method Don't use it in the exam. It helps in building up confidence. But don't rely on it.

its my humble request to you , please never attmpt all the questions in varc or in any sections , Just focus on your stength , in which part you have a great strength .Take my example-I am weak in para jumbles but I am way too strong in summary and para completion , so I every time attempts them first ,well tita questions are also there so i attempt them without any hesitation . Then comes Rc part ,its my strategy to leave out a difficult rc and attempt the remaining 3 and all their question . Thats my way of doing varc

There could be many reasons why a question can be wrong, that doesn't me you lack the skills, maybe you lack some skills that were shown up in the exam and you panicked which led to other getting wrong, take time and see where things went wrong and start again
