Jeff bought a watch from a wholesale dealer at 28% from the original price. He then sold the watch on ebay and earned a profit of 33.33 % even after giving a discount of 20%.How much percent would he have marked as compared to the original price of the watch? A 10% B 30% C 20% D 15% Explanation Assume the original price of watch as 100. price at which Jeff bought = 72 price at which watch is sold = 72 + 33.33%72=96 thus marked price = 96/.8 = 120 ∴the price has been marked up by 20% compared to the original price. don't you guyz review your questions ...in questions it is said that Jeff brought watch at 28% of original price ..but in solution it is shown as he bought at discount of 28% ..
