In a temple, there are 44 steps. For every 2 steps Karthika climbed up, Vishakha came down 3 steps. If they started simultaneously and travelled with uniform speed, at which step from the bottom will they meet?

they will meet when they cover the gap of 44 steps

so in 8 seconds total steps are covered

(8*5=40)

number of steps remains => 44-40=4

so at 9 seconds and at 18th step they will met.
