let time taken by Karthika is 1 second to cover 2 steps. and same for vishakha for 3 steps. in one second the total steps cover are 2+3= 5 they will meet when they cover the gap of 44 steps so in 8 seconds total steps are covered (8*5=40) in which Karthika have covered 16 steps and vishakha have covered 24 steps number of steps remains => 44-40=4 so at 9 seconds and at 18th step they will met.
