I'm an MBBS graduate , General , Male
10th 9.4 cgpa
12th 91%
Graduation - 61%
No work experience
1 Gap year
No extra certificates but did many Co curricular activities.
I'll be appearing in CAT 2026
What percentile will I need to have a chance to get a call from at least 2-3 top 15 b schools .

Hi Aditya,

You have a pretty unique background, and your 10th and 12th scores are strong. The 61% in graduation is the main concern, but your MBBS background does give you an advantage compared to the usual engineering pool. The 1-year gap is also manageable as long as you have a clear explanation for it.

If your goal is to get 2–3 calls from top 15 B-schools, aim for 99+ percentile, and if you can push it to 99.5+, you'll put yourself in a much stronger position for getting those calls. You don’t need to chase certificates at this stage. Focus on CAT 2026 and try to push your percentile as high as possible.
