I genuinely don’t know what I’m doing wrong with VARC right now. When I attempt all 4 RCs, I’m getting around 50% accuracy. But even when I reduce my attempts to just 2 RCs, my accuracy is still stuck at around 50%. What’s confusing me even more is that after the sectional, when I solve the remaining 2 RCs without any time pressure, I’m able to get around 75% accuracy and finish them in roughly 20 minutes. For the last few sectionals, I was trying to attempt around 20 questions and my accuracy was usually between 50–60%. Today I deliberately reduced my attempts thinking it would improve my accuracy, but it stayed at 50% and my score just went down. I’m really confused about what I should prioritise at this point. Should I focus on accuracy first and attempt fewer questions, or should I maintain a higher number of attempts and try to improve my accuracy alongside it? And if I should do the latter, how exactly do I work on improving my accuracy?
