While starting the VARC section , whether be it a mock or just a sectional test , analyze the question paper first. Plan out your attempt sequence. Select the passage you'd want to attempt first. Data rich passages are usually tricker to solve to try to be extra attentive when you are answering data specific questions. CAT loves word play and be overly scruplous while eliminating the options. And the most improtant thing ; believe in yourself. You can do it. Dust off all your self-doubts and inhibitions. You have got this.

You can't control accuracy in VARC but only improve. Even if you attempt 23 questions with just 60% accuracy, you get 33-34 marks. If you have doubt about 2 options, just mark any 1 and move on and if you have doubt about 3 options, skip the question. Don't go for it blindly.

Try to do experiments like sometime start from VA AND SOMETIMES FROM RC in sectionals.SOmetimes try to solve only 2 sets RC and 3-4 VA by analyzing each RC main point. If possible try to give 2 sectionals till 25th nov. I hope it helps and finalize which statregy helps.

Try Choosing the easy RC and with full concentration give it a shot, Then try attempting the VA , first TITA questions then come on to para summary. Hope this helps.

Focus on accuracy rather than attempts if you are attempting 8 questions you have to be confident that all 8 would be correct. Try attempting more TITA questions from the VA section.
