I am scoring an average of 70 marks in the mock tests (new pattern). Can I crack the CAT?

100 marks will be approx. 99 %.
90 close to 97-98%
So, 70 will be between 90 and 95.
You can still aim for 90+ at this point.
"Anyway, it's better than cheating in a mock test by scoring a perfect score. His "NAME" doesn't show the guy's credibility".See the comments. You will understand about whom I am talking about.

This is not a calculation. It's an estimate based on the data from CAT 2017 to 2019. Also, considering CAT 2020 LOD is almost similar to the average LOD of a Dashcat.
99% is mostly around 50-55 percent of marks(unless when exactly one section is easy like VARC of 2018 or Quant of 2017, where the 99% will be closer to 60 percentage).
If CAT LOD is a 6/10, then the average Dashcat is probably around 7-7.5/10
So, at 100 marks in Dashcats, 99 % is a very realistic target(even for 90+ marks and improving students).

Abhishek Venugopal - On what basis have this marks vs percentile been calculated?

If you are from reserved category, then yes. Else, no.
