I am practising DILR, VARC & Quants for over 1 year now and yet am unable to increase my scores. In quants, my Algebra and Geometry are still left to be prepared. I am confused whether to focus a lot on any 1 or should i prepare both (i find geomtery difficult). Please guide me how do i increase my score and how should i move ahead in quants ?

Hi Gaurav,
Not just practising but analysing the tests you have taken is super important in your preparation journey. Try to spend a good amount of time analysing mocks and sectionals. Make sure you are good with the basic concepts of each topic before taking tests. Geometry has a high weightage in the Quants section, and you get easier questions from Algebra than Geometry and Arithmetic. I suggest you concentrate on both topics. Firstly, go through the basic concepts, theorems, and formulae. Try to derive the formulae so that you will get to know the logic behind them. Start practising and write tests daily. Don't get demotivated; even if you are learning one concept or technique from each test, this adds so much to your preparation.
Hope this helps!
