SHOULD I STOP GIVING DASHCATS

I am able to get 60-82 in SIMCATS and Pyqs as a mocks with VARC score being consistent 30-42 range but when I give dash cat i score drops dramatically to 40 and even 14 and 16 , especially VARC goes down to below 20 , i am not able to understand why I am able to score good in PYQS Simcat VARC section but struggle to cross even 20 marks.
It's shatters my confidence.
WHAT SHOULD I DO???

I think it's actually good to be pushed out of your comfort zone occasionally. Not every mock is going to go smoothly, and it's better to face these situations now than on CAT day. From my experience, DashCATs have good quality questions, and I've actually been scoring slightly better in them compared to CDC Pros. So I wouldn't necessarily say DashCATs are harder. Can't comment on SimCATs though.

I feel your score drops could be due to strategy, question selection or maybe just how you handle unfamiliar passages. But don't let a few bad mocks affect your confidence too much, especially when you've already shown that you can consistently score well in other mocks. Try to figure out what exactly is going wrong rather than focusing too much on the scores. You don't have to give every DashCAT, but I'd suggest attempting them occasionally. It's much better to face these challenges now and learn from them than encounter them for the first time on exam day. Personally, I give a mix of CDC Pro, CDC Flexi and DashCATs, with around 80% of my mocks being CDCs.
