How many questions can we leave in XAT given that there is negative marking after 8 questions?

This is the strategy I believe in (from another coaching Institute). Attempt all. Take 10 questions for example. If you atleast manage to get 2 of them correct, you'll get +2 (for 2 correct) and -0.25*8 = - 2 (for 8 wrong). In total you'll get 2-2 = 0 marks. But if you leave/don't attempt all 10, you'll get -0.10*10 = -1 Choose wisely. For me, getting 0 would be better than -1.
