Hi VARC faculty of Cracku I am reading Aeon and editorial on daily basis with Active reading method however still I am not able to perform well in VARC section, my mind shut down automatically seeing the timer running what should I do?

Hi Siddhant, apart from reading regularly it is also important to enjoy your reading. Ensure you’re also reading what you like so that you develop an interest in reading. If you’re spending 1 hour on reading: Spend 30 mins on reading what you enjoy (Sports, fiction, cooking, etc.), and 30 mins on reading from diverse topics. Slowly incorporate different topics into your daily reading list. Additionally, try to solve 1-2 RCs every day and analyse them thorougly. If the answer you marked is wrong, read the solution carefully and see where your reasoning differed from that of the author; and also learn to eliminate the options. Focus on understanding the passage and try to avoid looking at the timer constantly; continue your active reading process- focus on comprehension and retention, and practice RCs on a regular basis. Please remember that it takes a considerable amount of time and effort to improve your English skills. Unlike other sections, the scores in the VARC section take some time to reflect the improvement; hence, patience is the key.

i had the same problem bro,try to give sectionals of varc frequently.and focus on va too.
