Hi sir, i havent attempted mocks in recent 4-5 days, so when i started to give a mock today, i started to panic so much that i paused the test 4-5 times in the varc section itself. It has become normal for me to start a mock, read a passage, panic, pause the test and relax for few mins and then continue. How to avoid this on the D-day?

Maybe it's happening because you aren't enjoying the process. You read to score marks in VARC and not to learn something new. Remember, marks in VARC will only come when you read and RETAIN the information while also using your critical reasoning ability.
I would recommend you avoid mocks, read articles on subjects you are interested in. Solve LRDI sets from past year papers or watch Youtube videos on LRDI revision and same for quant. The lesser you expect out of your CAT attempt, the better your score will be.
