Hi, I need some help regarding the execution of a formula. I am seeing the use of the AM >= GM formula a lot and it seems very easy to do. I know the logic behind it well enough but I do not know in what situations can I use this? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi AM >= GM is used in algebra questions where you are asked to find maximum or minimum value of expressions . For ex you are asked to find the minimum value of x+y+8/xy where x and y are real numbers you can use AM >GM You will get (x+y+8/xy )/3 >= (x*y*8/xy)^1/3 so we get x+y+8/xy > =6
