Hi ,anyone please answer me. At the time of filling the cat application, i put 9.4 cgpa in obtained marks and 10 in total marks. I have done 10th from cbse and they have an official formula for converting this into percentage, but I didn't know this. Will my application get rejected due to this. Will I won't be able to get my admit card

Hi, I suggest you visit a channel called Swetha Arora. I have heard her speak of this kind of issue. I remember her saying if the discrepancy is not going to conflict with the shortlist criteria then you will go through. Eg: if the weightage for xyz college is 5 marks for CGPA greater than 9 then you will go through with 9.3 and 10. But you won't go through if 5 marks slab is set for 9.5+ because then your discrepancy will become active.

Not entirely sure, but you should get the admit card. Academic details will matter later on during interviews and there should be a chance for correction before that.

You can try sending them a mail about the issue. They might consider and open a window for correction or change the details later on. You'll find the mail id on the official cat page.
