You already have a strong academic base, and being a gold medalist and branch topper is definitely a nice addition to your profile. The main challenge is simply the high competition for a GEM.

If you’re aiming for BLACKI and the other top B-schools, try to push for 99.5+. Getting closer to 99.7+ would give you an added advantage when it comes to the more competitive calls like IIM A, B and C. For colleges like LKI, FMS, MDI and IIM Mumbai, being around 99+ can keep you in the race.

Overall, you have a good profile, so just focus on getting the best CAT score.
