Of this he loses 32.5% in his efforts to produce a film . from the balance , a taxi driver stole the of rs. 100000 that he used to keep. of the rest , he donated 20% to charity . further he purchase a flat for rs.7.5 lakh . he was left with only 2.5 lakh cash of the total amount of his inheritance. what was the value of his inheritance?
Amount left = 2,50,000
Purchased a flat = 7,50,000
Amount left after Charity = 10 lakhs
Charity = 20%
Amount before charity = (100-20)%
= 10 Lakhs / 80 * 100 = 12.5 Lakhs
Money stolen = 1,00,000
Now, Amount he had before theft = 13.5 Lakhs
% loss in producing a film = 32.5
therefore, 13.5 Lakhs = (100-32.5)% of Total Inheritance
= 1350000 * 100 / 67.5
= 20 Lakhs
