Guys, I'm worried would gap years hurt my chances for converting top IIM, also in later stage like Summer Internship..?

Hi Aayush,
A gap by itself usually won’t stop you from getting into a top IIM. What matters more is how you explain the gap and what you did during that period. If you have a genuine reason and can explain it confidently, it shouldn’t be a major concern.
For summer internships and later placements too, a gap may come up during interviews, but your skills, academics, CAT performance and overall profile will matter much more. So don’t let the gap discourage you. Focus on building a strong profile from here.

I think it will. Dropping a year is not the most ideal route to crack CAT and it might have a negative impact on your chances.
