Greetings, Whenever I start with a mock there is always some kind of huge pressure in the Verbal section that is leading to fewer marks in Verbal but later on, the pressure decreases in the other section. Although I'm most comfortable with Varc still the problems persist. Could you please guide me on how to overcome this.

Hi The reason we give mocks is to get accustomed to such things so that when we face CAT it seems we are giving just another mock , and as you said you are facing pressure and are not able to perform well because of this , the reason can be when we take pressure is we expect a too much from ourselves as it is the section which is our strength and we want to maximize the marks , try to start the paper in a very good frame of mind without worrying about anything , it is just a mock or an exam , enjoy the exam , don't put any burden on yourself that if I screw up then what , be very calm try to have a sip of water in every 5 mins , and try to give more mocks in the first week of November and try to get used to as much as you can because in CAT there will be pressure we cannot deny that but we cannot take any additional pressure so try to be normal, just take it is an exam and don't worry about external factors .Also the pressure later decreases because you adapt to exam till the time VARC is over try to get used to it as soon as you start the paper and for that appear for a mock or two extra than planned (But only till 12TH November )
