GEM 9/9/8 acads 1 year workex, CAT score 63 (raw) 29/27/7 slot 1 What can I expect??? Percentile wise and college wise??? Should I give up hope?

I have a similar score and profile. This score would translate to around the 90 percentile. There is no hope for IIMs. Give your best in other exams and maybe try for private colleges like GLIM.

You can target IITs, they accept the overall percentile. For more colleges, you can check iQuonta page, they had a post about B-schools with no sectional limit.

Hello, I don't know about the percentile that you may get, but, if the final percentile comes up above 92+ percentile, then you should give very good shot at IIT KGP (VGSOM) - if VGSOM is acceptable to you. Last year I had 93.94 %ile and I was able to convert it. I had applied after talking to my seniors from VGSOM. They suggested that if you have work ex then you can expect a call from VGSOM at 91 %ile even and if you don't have a work ex you may not get a call sometimes even at 98+ percentile, and, their words came out to be true. I have similar percentage in 10th, 12th, Grad just like you. So, this is my opinion regarding your question.
