Fred bought a 2000 ml bottle of Coke and drank 5% of it on the first day and replaced it with water. On the second day he drank 10% of the contents and replaced it with water. On the third day he drank 15% and replaced it with water. He continued in this way and drank the whole bottle on the 20th day. Find the average quantity of water (in ml) that Fred drank in these 20 days from the bottle. I've come to 950, Considering that 1900 is the last term. Fundamentally in terms of percentage 95% water & 5% coke is what I've presumed. Please correct me if the approach is wrong.

I got the same answer, my logic was that since the day 19's mixture was emptied on day 20 entirely .so he drank 1900 ml of water and all part of water form the mixture all throughout 20 days ,So total he must have consumed 19000 water divided by 20 gives 950

i dont understand it my logic was he drank a total of 100 on first day and 2000 on last so a total of 2100*20/2 and the coke was 2000 ml so 19000 he consumed as water then 19000/20 = 950
