Four friends A B C D have some money among them one day they decided to equate the money, so first A gave B what B had initially,then B gave C what C had initially.Again C gave D what D had initially and finally D had doubled the money of A. Thus each of them had equal sum of ₹48. What was the initial amount of B? a)₹36 b)₹54 c) ₹45 d) ₹42

Hi In these type of questions we always start from reverse so last step was where D gave A and as A had 48 so D must have given him 24 so after giving 24 he had 48 with him as well so D must have 72 , Now D received what he initially had so D must have received 36 from C Now C received what he initially had and gave D 36 so 2C-36 =84 So C =42 So B must have given 42 to C Now B received what he initiallly had so 2B-42 =48 B =45
