Inverse Using Adjoint

## Formula

If:

$$|A|\ne0$$

then:

$$A^{-1}=\frac{\operatorname{adj}(A)}{|A|}$$

## Usage

- Used to calculate the inverse of a square matrix.

Question 1

If $$A$$ and $$B$$ are non-singular matrices of the same order, find the inverse of $$X = A(\operatorname{adj}(A^{-1}) + \operatorname{adj}(B^{-1}))^{-1}B$$.

Question 2

Let $$A$$ be a $$3\times3$$ matrix with real entries satisfying $$A^3-3A^2+4I=O$$. It is also given that  $$\det(A)=-4$$
