FMS vs IIM Admission Process

IIMs as well as FMS follow their own admission selection process based on which a merit list will be prepared with the candidates names who have been selected for their MBA programmes. Both the institutes use CAT scores to shortlist candidates for the interview round. Here are the admission selection processes of FMS and IIMs in detail.

IIMs Admission

To get into IIMs, a candidate will need to appear for the CAT exam. After the declaration of results, the CAT score and overall profile of the candidates will be used for shortlisting. If a candidate is shortlisted by the IIMs, they will be invited for an interview and WAT and GD programmes scores, which will further be used to calculate a composite score based on which a final merit list will be prepared.

FMS Delhi Admission

FMS Delhi accepts CAT scores to shortlist candidates for the admission process. Once the candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT score, they will be invited for the personal interview round by the college. The final selection is based upon candidates overall performance in both stages.
