- Overall CAT 2025 Minimum Cut-off: 95th percentile and 85th for sections for candidates of the general category.
- Weight Distribution for Shortlisting: The composite score for interview shortlisting is 65% of CAT 2025 and 35% of the Application Rating Score.
- Diversity Points: Diversity points can be earned for one of two options only- gender or academic diversity. Female and transgender candidates receive a clear 10 percent diversity score, while they score 5 percent irrespective of the gender.
- Work Experience: Marks of work experience are calculated as-{ (Total Months - 11 months) * .20 }

Application Rating Score: AR= (A+B+C+D+E)
The normalized AR score of an applicant is equal to their AR score divided by the average of the top 50 AR scores from the group of candidates who appear for CAT-2025 and apply to IIMA.

IIM Ahmedabad Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The minimum percentage of marks required would be 45% in the case of applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and those with disability.
- For persons without a Bachelors' degree but have completed professional courses, such as CA/ICWA/CS after class XII, the minimum percentage shall be the same as required above.
- A valid score in CAT is a prerequisite.

IIM Ahmedabad Minimum Cut-off 2025
The MBA/PGDM cutoff for admission into the PG course at IIM Ahmedabad is based on CAT 2025 scores. There are two kinds of cutoffs related to the exams in IIM Ahmedabad: the Qualifying CAT cutoff and Final CAT cutoff. The candidate will pass forward for next round of admission (WAT and PI) if the candidate has at least minimum qualifying CAT cutoff. The final CAT cutoff for IIM Ahmedabad is always more than the qualifying. In fact, most of the qualifying cutoffs for IIM colleges are more or less the same every year.
As per the expected Qualifying CAT cutoff for the year's admissions to IIM Ahmedabad, this time it will be set at 80 Percentile, particularly for General category candidates, 2025. IIM Ahmedabad Eligibility Criteria: Stage 1
For a candidate to meet the above criteria, they should be eligible in CAT 2025 score and academic cut off:

CA, CMA, or CS Candidates can either possess or not possess a Graduation degree, but the candidate has to secure at least 50 percent aggregate marks in their CA, CMA(ICWA), or CS examinations.
Such eligibility is not qualification for moving to the next stage, but it is essential for IIM Ahmedabad shortlisting process.

IIM Ahmedabad Shortlisting Process: Stage 2
Referring to their Composite Score together with other mentioned criteria, shortlisted applicants will be called for the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview stage.
For each academic category (AC) in which the total number of applicants to IIM-A who have not scored above 99 percentile in CAT-2025 relates to SC/ST/NC-OBC/PwD categories that total at least 100, the top 5 percent in the respective categories are to be shortlisted for AWT and PI on the basis of composite score, CS.
Composite Score: Application Rating* 0.35 + CAT *0.65
That is 65% of CAT Score + 35% of Application Rating
The number of candidates qualifying the above step would proceed to the WAT-PI stage, depending on how many the batch size would come up to that IIM Ahmedabad would like to accommodate.
IIM Ahmedabad Selecttion Criteria 2025: Stage 3
Final Shortlist Based on CAT, PI, WAT, and Resume Score: Final Shortlist Based on CAT, PI, WAT, and Application Rating: The final step takes the performance across different assessments compared with WAT and PI. Here is how the final score is weighted:
- CAT 2025 Score: 25% weightage
- PI: 50% weightage
- WAT: 10% weightage
- Application Rating: 15% weightage
A candidate's normalized PI and AWT scores are their scores in the respective field divided by the average of the top 1% scores in the same field, respectively.
On completion of this process, IIM Ahmedabad shall make the admission offers to applicants based on a merit list for the respective category, according to the reservation policies of Government of India.

IIM Ahmedabad Reservation Policy
IIM Ahmedabad follow the government norms of reservation for the admission of the Central Educational Institution. This policy works toward achieving social inclusion and thus gives opportunities to the candidates from different reserved categories.
