Find the smallest four digit number which leaves a remainder of 4 and 6 when divided by 7 and 9 respectively?

Hi Divakar,
Note the difference between 7 and 7 & 9 and 6 which is 3.
Hence the formula for such numbers is = LCM(7,9)k-3= 63k-3
Smallest no. = 63-3 = 60
