Do I also need to apply to all colleges separately too after filling the application form for exams ?? I'm confused

Exams like CAT and XAT. allow you to be eligible for admissions into a myriad of colleges. You are automatically enrolled for some colleges when you fill the exam form. eg: IIMs via CAT and XLRI via XAT. But, if you wish to apply for, say XIMB, them you'll have to fill the application form for that college, pay the application fee, and in that Application form itself would be an option for entering the marks of any of your, applicable, qualifying exams.
