Cracku team: 91% in 10th 89.7% in 12th 71% in BTech Fresher with some months of intern experience. Rooughly how much percentile I should aim for top IIMs/FMS/IIFT

Hi Shreedhar, with a 9/8/7 Academics, you have a decent academic profile, but the 71% in graduation makes the CAT percentile particularly important.
Target 99+ percentile, with 99.5+ as a safer target for the top IIMs, FMS and IIFT.
FMS gives 50% weightage to CAT in final selection so a very high CAT score can work strongly in your favour.
IIFT also gives 90% weightage to CAT score at the shortlisting stage. For IIM Ahmedabad, the CAT component itself is 65% of the initial composite score, making a high percentile especially important.
Overall, 99+ should be your minimum target and 99.5+ would put you in a much safer zone for the colleges you're targeting.
