cp od product increase by 10% and selling price is same and profit is decreased by 20%
what is current profit %?

my approach is
cp=100x sp=120x p=20x
cp=110x sp=120x p=16x

but,
120x-110x = 10x

10x=16x
But cant able to solve further

we don't know what was the selling price earlier cause it is not mentioned what profit he gained earlier on which he get 20% value later!

let CP=x and SP=y. new CP=1.1x, SP=y
(y-x)4/5=y-1.1x
x/y=2/3
take 20,30 for easier calculations. new profit%= (30-22)/22*100= 36.36

36.36

Answer is 9.09% ( 1/11 x100 )
