As Sayali Ma'am says for excelling in Rc's, I've tried active reading while reading atleast one article each day for the past 20 days but I take a lot of time while writing down the main point for each paragraph and specifically for informative Rc's it becomes even more time taking like If i am reading an essay of about 3000 words, it usually takes me around 1 to 1hr 20 minutes of time for active reading an writing down the main points for each para. Kindly help me with my approach
You will need to figure out what suits you, even I struggled in writing main points and the whole time passed by impacting my scores as well. But later I found that actively understanding paragraphs and making mental notes is sufficient enough and you don't need to write main points.
This is the practice most people follow.
