Will IIM A Selection Criteria Changes Make Admission Easier?

There are some changes in the IIM Ahmedabad selection process this year, and I’m curious about how CAT 2026 aspirants are looking at them.

For different profiles, the impact could be quite different. Someone with strong academics may look at these changes differently from someone relying mainly on a high CAT percentile.

Do you think the IIM Ahmedabad selection criteria changes will make getting a call easier or tougher?

10th marks
I did my 10th from Tamil nadu state board. As it was Covid year, we were given all pass as the results— no marks. Cat form, thankfully, had the provision to enter this. But how will this be treated in IIMs calculating CS for interviews and shortlisting. Also during placements

I am currently in the 5th semester of my undergraduate degree program. I have marksheets for all 4 completed semesters. My university officially uses the formula CGPA x 10 to convert CGPA to percentage. However, due to a backlog in my 3rd-semester subject (Income Tax Law-1), an official SGPA for Semester 3 was not initially generated on the original marksheet. I have since appeared for the examination and secured 42 out of 100 marks in this paper. Consequently, I have calculated my aggregate percentage directly using the total marks obtained across all four semesters:Percentage = (Total Marks Obtained / Total Maximum Marks) x 100= (1485 / 2240) x 100= 66.29%Please let me know if I should submit the aggregate using this percentage formula or if any alternative procedure is required.

VARC HELP NEEDED !!
I went from consistently score 30+ marks in first 5 Dash cat mocks to -4 in dash cat 6 and 14 in dash cat 7.
I have not changed my strategy of attempting all questions which got me consistently score 30+ marks , daily 30-40 mins reading along with VARC sectional every alternate day.
After even analysing those mocks and attempting all the questions again, it feels like I have suddenly lost the ability t comprehend RCs . And I am shit scared now as it is my strongest section.
PLLZZ HELP ME WHAT SHOULD I DO??

Insecure about my profile
Hello, I'm general non engineer male bsc bio.
My profile is 84/86/60, no work experience. I started my preparation mainly from August and currently I'm at a very good pace, and I've also completed a lot of things, I'm also starting taking mocks from the upcoming week, like I'm giving my 100% all the day, but my issue is will I get even shortlisted? My profile s so bad, what can I do more than just studying. Like I want to go the best of the business schools, but please tell me is that possible with this kind of profile and academics.
