A trader bought 2 cycles of a sum of RS.7,800. He sold the first one at 4% profit and the second one at 9% loss. Later the found that each cycle is sold for the same price (In Rs.) of that cycle which is sold for loss is ? "(With explanation plz)"

We can do it by alligation method,

9 4-----------NOW BY ADDING WE GET=13 is equivalent to
78 as given.So,13*6=78.Thus when we multiply 4 with 6 i.e 4*6=24 we s.p of loss i.e 2400 nd also we get profit s.p i.e 5400
