a faulty machine by mistackally reversed record the actual no of goods purchased .during the talling found that no of good recorded by the machine was 63 less than actual no of goods and the value of the recorded good was rs696.what is the actual price of good? the price and no of good is two digit no,in this solution how value is come that the actual no is whether 92 or 81,how this value occur anybody knows?

it will be 92
Actual = y+10x
Fault = x+10y
According to question, y+10x - x-10y = 63
so x-y =7
two possibilities 92/81
lets take 81
(x+10y)*price = 696
put x=8, y=1
price = 696/18= 38.66
this solution is not possible as it is goven that price is two digit number
