A 8 3 24 B -3 -8 Work done by A in 4 days = 4×3 = 12 Work done by A & B together in next 2 days = 2× (3-8) = -10 Total work done in 6 days = 12-10= 2 Remaining work = 24 - 2 = 22 So A will take = 22/3 = 7 ⅓ days
