What skills should i focus on? or need to develop?

Your academics are fairly consistent, your non-engineering background can help with academic diversity, and nearly 3 years of work experience is a solid positive. Since you’ve recently left your job, just be prepared to explain your career break and reason for pursuing an MBA.

For skills, don’t feel like you need to collect random certificates. Focus on communication, Excel, basic finance/business understanding, and problem-solving. You can also read about the industry or role you would like to pursue after your MBA. Your work experience itself can be a strong talking point, so spend time understanding and articulating your responsibilities, achievements and impact clearly during interviews.
