Ratio of Two General Terms

## Formula

For:

$$(a+b)^n$$

$$\frac{T_{r+1}}{T_{s+1}}=\frac{{}^nC_r}{{}^nC_s}a^{s-r}b^{r-s}$$

Therefore:

$$\frac{T_{r+1}}{T_{s+1}}=\frac{s!(n-s)!}{r!(n-r)!}\left(\frac ba\right)^{r-s}$$

## Usage

- Used to compare any two terms of a binomial expansion.
