Binomial Expansion of $$(1+x)^n$$

## Formula

$$(1+x)^n=\sum_{r=0}^{n}{}^nC_rx^r$$

## Usage

- Used as the standard form for extracting coefficients and evaluating binomial sums.

Question 1

If the coefficient of $$x^{9}$$ in the expansion of $$\left(x^2+\frac1x\right)^{12}$$ is equal to the coefficient of $$x^5$$ in the expansion of $$\left(1+x\right)^n,$$ then the value of $$n$$ is:

Question 2

What is the coefficient of $$x^{50}$$ in the expansion of the polynomial

 $$P(x)=(1+x)^{1000}+2x(1+x)^{999}+3x^2(1+x)^{998}+\dots+1001x^{1000}$$

Question 3

If $$\frac{\binom{n}{0}}{1} + \frac{\binom{n}{1}}{2} + \frac{\binom{n}{2}}{3} + \dots + \frac{\binom{n}{n}}{n+1} = p/q$$ where $$n=7$$ and $$p,q$$ are relatively prime natural numbers, then $$p+q=$$
