    XAT Marking Scheme

    To master the XAT 2027 on the first attempt, it is necessary to understand the XAT exam marking scheme properly. Although the exam pattern is similar to other MBA entrance exams, the XAT 2027 marking scheme differs in several key areas. Here are the major details related to the XAT marking scheme 2027:

    • Each right answer is worth 1 mark.
    • Every wrong answer leads to a 0.25 mark penalty.
    • The general knowledge section does not contain any negative marks.
    • The score of General knowledge section is not used while calculating XAT percentile.
    • Essay is not a part of the entrance exam but will be considered in PI rounds.
    • Negative mark 0.1 awarded for every unattempted question after 8 unattempted questions.
