SNAP QA, DI and DS Preparation Strategy 2026

Quantitative Aptitude is a calculation-based section, therefore if a candidate is good at maths, they will find it easy to prepare for the SNAP exam. Check out these important SNAP preparation strategies for Quants and Data Interpretation.

Begin with the SNAP previous Papers, this will give you a fair idea the level of questions that are being asked in the exam and you don’t end up spending a lot of time on practicing tough questions.

Memorising Quant theorems and formulas will not be enough. You must also master the skill to apply them to relevant questions. There will be similar-looking questions, but the method will differ. Learn to recognise the difference.

After completing a topic, practise the mock questions and exercises provided at the end of the chapter to better understand how concepts are applied. Analyse which types of questions you were able to answer on your first attempt and which were difficult. This will help you decide what to focus on the second time.

Continue to make short notes on major Maths topics, formulas, and shortcuts you find along the preparation. It will be useful for revision in the final week before the SNAP 2026 exam.

Memorise up to 20 mathematics tables, including squares, cubes, square roots, percentages, and fractions.

Because SNAP is a speed test, the aim is to improve your speed and accuracy when answering the questions. Practise a good number of sample papers and mock tests to improve your speed and accuracy. Remember that the time limit for answering 60 questions is 60 minutes only.

Get hold of SNAP sample papers from various sources. To pass Quants and Data Interpretation, you must practice a large number of questions.

Data Interpretation questions demand a high level of experience in understanding the data, the more you practise sample questions, the better you will become.
