SNAP 2026 Notification Details
In addition to the date and fees, the SNAP 2026 exam notification outlines the exam structure and admission process. Some key points are given:
Test Format: SNAP is a computer-based test (CBT) lasting 60 minutes with 60 multiple-choice questions.
Sections: The SNAP exam consists of three sections - General English (Reading comprehension, verbal ability and usage), Analytical & logical reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude (including data interpretation and data sufficiency).
Marking Scheme and Negative Marking: Each correct answer awards you 1 mark and a negative marking of -0.25 Marks on each incorrect response.
Exam centres: SNAP 2026 test is held in nearly 79 cities. This makes it easy for aspirants, even from small towns, to locate their test centre.
Participating colleges: SNAP scores are accepted by as many as 17 Symbiosis institutes. All these institutes offer MBMBAs with specialisations such as business management, business analytics, Information and Communication, Banking and Finance, Services Management, Healthcare Management, Media and Communication, operations management, etc.
Admission Procedure: Shortlisted candidates are called for a group exercise, Personal Interview and writing ability test. The respective weightage differs across colleges for the GE, PI, and WAT in the admission process.
SNAP 2026 Application Form: Key Points
Carefully complete the SNAP 2026 Application Form. Small errors in category choice and data entry can cause problems when shortlisting for interview and final registration.
Key Points to Remember:
Email & Mobile Consistency: We will use your active personal email address & mobile number, which must remain active for at least the next 12 months. All interview calls, scorecards & admission notifications will be sent to this email/Phone Number.
Strategic Choice of Attempts: The more chances you give yourself with 2 or 3 test attempts, the better the chances of you getting a high percentile. Since Symbiosis takes into account your best score out of all attempts, it is always good to have multiple attempts to counter stress on the exam day or unexpected sets of questions in the exam.
Separate College Selection is Mandatory: Joining for SNAP alone will not make you "auto-registered" at SIBM Pune nor at SCMHRD. You must specifically check and remit the application fee (INR 1000) for the program you are seeking admission to.
Preserve Stamped Admit Cards: After you complete your online test, keep your printed SNAP Admit Card. During the offline Group Exercise & Personal Interaction (GE-PI) stages at the Symbiosis campuses, you will need to produce the stamp of the invigilator on the admit card.
No Slot Changes After Payment: Before making your final payment, please double-confirm your test date selection and test city choice. No modification request on test date or test centre can be accepted once the final payment is successful.
