SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2025: Students must have a valid bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. The degree must be from a government recognized university in India or abroad. The minimum marks criteria is slightly relaxed for reserved category students. Students belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories must attain a minimum of 45% marks in their bachelors degree.

There is no upper age limit for the SNAP 2025 exam. Students belonging to any age are free to apply as long as the minimum eligibility criteria has been met. 15% of seats are reserved for SC category candidates while 3% is reserved for PwD. College going students who are still studying in their final year are also eligible to take SNAP 2025.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria for SNAP exam refers to the minimum conditions which must be met to apply for the exam. Students must achieve at least 50% marks in their last qualifying exam to meet the academic eligibility requirements. Since there is no age limit, you may apply at any time during the course of your professional or academic endeavors. Even working professionals or those students who are yet to complete their college are eligible to apply provided they are in their final year of the course.

SNAP Age Limit

The SNAP exam does not have an official upper age limit. It means that students, graduates or working professionals at any stage in their life, no matter how old, are allowed to appear for the exam given they fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements. Since there is no age limit, the SNAP test is a lifelong opportunity for dedicated persons.

SNAP Reservation Policy

The reservation policy under the SNAP test 2025 provides seat reservation benefits to SC, ST and PwD category candidates. Around 3% to 15% of the sanctioned intake seats are reserved for SC, ST and PwD students. 25% of the sanctioned intake seats are also reserved for Nagpur Domiciled candidates. Students registering for the SNAP exam must choose only 1 category out of the options mentioned below. It is recommended to choose your student category carefully as no option to change the category is provided later. It is mandatory to present your relevant category certificates to avail benefits during the verification stage.

SNAP Eligibility for Final Year Students

To increase the scope of SNAP, even final year students who are yet to receive their qualification proof are eligible to apply under certain conditions. These students are required to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination to be eligible to apply. Relaxation for SC/ST final year students requires them to attain at least 45% marks in their graduation. Detailed SNAP eligibility for final year students is as follows.

SNAP Eligibility for International Students

Under the SNAP eligibility requirements for International students, foreign nationals who are citizens of a different country other than India are eligible to apply. These students must possess a valid foreign passport. Those holding an OCI status are also eligible to apply online for the SNAP test. Someone having a PIO card and is a citizen of a foreign country is also eligible to apply for SNAP. SNAP eligibility also extends to NRI candidates.
