Work EX

I am planning to join as a Sales Associate at Lenskart in a tier 3 city. Will it be seen as a negative/fallback point in my CV for MBA internships/placements since I have got bachelor's internships done at IIM Shillong and IIT Guwahati. I plan to join because I have been unemployed for 3-4 months now (Graduated 2026) and would like to appear for cat 2027 with work ex in my hands

Started CAT Prep 2 Weeks Ago, When Should I Take My 1st Mock

I started preparing for CAT around 2 weeks ago and haven't taken a full-length mock yet. I was thinking of covering at least 50% of the syllabus before attempting my first mock, but now I'm wondering if I'm delaying it too much. Should I take a mock now just to understand where I stand, or wait until I've covered more of the syllabus? Also, how frequently should I take mocks at this stage?

I'm really struggling with Quant right now. So the first sectional mock I gave, with barely any prep (QA sectional mock 1), I got a score 24, 88 percentile. and since then, I've studied over 2 months consistently, and I'm just getting worse and worse, to the point that I'm scoring in single digits, with 20-40 percentile. I just need to know one thing - was the first sectional mock actually a little easier, and every QA mock gets a bit harder (meaning I am making progress just unable to see) or am I getting conscious and not able to perform as well as I could the first time? Like I'm aware that i know more now. but why is my performance so terrible now compared to that first time where i had no expectations of myself ? Do mocks on cracku get harder as we go along?

Geometry and Algebra

HI, Admins, I haven't started my geometry preparation yet, please suggest me at most 2 or 3 topics from geometry I should focus for the sake of chance attempts, suggest according to the trends of geometry.
And Algebra, the questions occurring in the past pyqs seems so random, I am comfortable in linear equations and inequality , quadratic equations too, but rarely i've seen them straightforward questions from this. Functions and Graph is bit difficult for me, and I missed out Logarithm. Please suggest me topic to strengthen my algebra to secured important topics.
