DI set 155
why is my approach wrong when we can assume only badminton to be 1 and a to be 1 and b to be 1 which nets c to be 13.

why is it still the wrong answer when we can prove it that the total student still equals to 50.

A survey was conducted to gauge the popularity of three sports magazines viz. - Athlon Sports (AS), Golf Digest (GD) and Runner’s World (RW). A total of 100 candidates participated in the survey. Further, we are given some additional information about their preferences:
1. The number of candidates who liked all three magazines was half of the number of candidates who liked Runner’s World (RW) alone.
2. The number of candidates who liked Athlon Sports (AS) alone is 2 less than the number of candidates who liked both Golf Digest and Runner’s World but not Athlon Sports.
3. The number of candidates who liked both Golf Digest and Runner’s World was thrice the number of candidates who liked all three magazines.
4. A total of 48 candidates liked exactly one magazine. The number of candidates who liked Golf Digest (GD) alone was two more than the number of candidates who liked Runner’s World alone.
5. The number of candidates who liked Runner’s World magazine was more than the number of candidates who liked Golf Digest.
6. The number of candidates who didn’t like any of the three magazines was 2 less than the number of candidates who liked both Golf Digest and Runner’s World.

Princess, Queen, Rani and Samragni were the four finalists in a dance competition. Ashman, Badal, Gagan and Dyu were the four music composers who individually assigned items to the dancers. Each dancer had to individually perform in two dance items assigned by the different composers. The first items performed by the four dancers were all assigned by different music composers. No dancer performed her second item before the performance of the first item by any other dancers. The dancers performed their second items in the same sequence of their performance of their first items.

The following additional facts are known.
i) No composer who assigned item to Princess, assigned any item to Queen.
ii) No composer who assigned item to Rani, assigned any item to Samragni.
iii) The first performance was by Princess; this item was assigned by Badal.
iv) The last performance was by Rani; this item was assigned by Gagan.
v) The items assigned by Ashman were performed consecutively. The number of performances between items assigned by each of the remaining composers was the same.

Q1) Which of the following is true?

In today's (27/08/26) DILR, I believe there is lack of clarity in the question. There is no mention that the beginning of sale of bikes starts from January. So delivery in the month of Jan would be M2 from month of Dec and also M3 from Month of November. But in the solution it's given as though sale of Bike has only started from the month Of January. I couldn't see anything in the question that'd make us assume that. I couldn't find anyway to post doubts other than this. I have attached the screenshots for reference.
