Intersection of Two Normals

Rarely Tested

Intersection of Two Normals

The normals at parameters $$t_1$$ and $$t_2$$ are:

$$y=-t_1x+2at_1+at_1^3$$

$$y=-t_2x+2at_2+at_2^3$$

Their intersection can be obtained by solving these two linear equations.

Usage

- Used when two normals and their point of intersection are involved.
