## Formula

If:

$$z=r(\cos\theta+i\sin\theta)$$

then:

$$z=re^{i\theta}$$

Also:

$$e^{-i\theta}=\cos\theta-i\sin\theta$$

Therefore:

$$z=r(\cos\theta+i\sin\theta)=re^{i\theta}$$
