Quadratic with Known Vertex

## Formula

If the vertex is:

$$$(h,k)$$$

then the quadratic can be written as:

$$f(x)=a(x-h)^2+k$$

If another point $(x_1,y_1)$ lies on the parabola:

$$a=\frac{y_1-k}{(x_1-h)^2}$$

## Usage

- Used to construct a quadratic when its vertex and one additional point are known.
