What Does Withdraw Mean in CSAB?

‘Withdraw’ in CSAB means that the candidate rejects the allotted or accepted seat and does not want to participate in any subsequent CSAB round. The seat is cancelled permanently, and the candidate leaves the CSAB Special Round seat-allocation process. Withdraw must not be confused with Exit. Withdraw applies when you reject an allotted or accepted seat. Exit applies to those who have not received a CSAB seat and meet the official no-seat conditions.

The Withdraw option is available only during Special Round-I. For this option, you must log in to the official portal, submit the required declaration or agreement and confirm the withdrawal through the OTP sent to the registered mobile number and email address. Once confirmed, you cannot participate in Special Round-II or reclaim the cancelled seat.

The current 2026 schedule lists the following CSAB 2026 important dates and events.

• The Special Round-I result will be declared on August 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
• The willingness and online-reporting window is scheduled from August 6 to August 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
• The Special Round-II result is scheduled for August 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
