NSEC Syllabus 2026

The NSEC Syllabus 2026 provides students with a clear roadmap for preparing for the National Standard Examination in Chemistry, the first stage of the International Chemistry Olympiad selection process in India. NSEC Syllabus 2026: Topic-Wise Weightage

The official IAPT syllabus for NSEC 2026 is broadly equivalent to Class 12 Chemistry under the CBSE curriculum. However, IAPT does not publish an official chapter-wise percentage weightage. Therefore, the table below should be treated as an indicative weightage based on recent NSEC paper trends and topic importance, rather than a fixed blueprint.

NSEC 2026 is based broadly on senior-secondary Chemistry up to Class 12, but the questions can be non-conventional and significantly more challenging than routine board-level questions.
