IIM Ranchi Admission Criteria 2025
The IIM Ranchi Admission Criteria 2025 is similar to the previous year as no major changes have taken place. The chances of admission to IIM Ranchi MBA programs depends on the performance of the candidate in the Personal Interview (PI) and candidate’s profile. The IIM Ranchi Admission Criteria involves two major stages. They have been discussed in detail below:
- Shortlisting Process - IIM Ranchi Shortlisting process is solely determined on the basis of a candidate’s CAT score. Then they are called for further formalities and procedures.

IIM Ranchi Shortlisting Process
Candidates who qualify for the PI process for admission to IIM Ranchi 2025–27 Batch will be included in an initial shortlist. It is anticipated that this list, which would be solely determined by CAT performance, will be revealed in the middle of January 2025.
IIM Ranchi Minimum Cut off 2025

IIM Ranchi Selection Process
After the initial shortlisting process, the candidates are selected for the Personal Interview (PI) Process and then the final admission takes place on the basis of CAT Percentile, PI, Profile evaluation, Academic Profile, Work Experience and Gender Diversity criterias. - Academic Profile (13 Marks) - Candidates' academic achievement in SSC, HSC, and graduation as stated on their CAT application form will be used to create the Academic Profile.
- Work Experience (7 Marks) - Its not that a person with 5 years of experience will be equivalent to someone with 2 years but they will have different weights. They are given in the table below:

IIM Ranchi Personal Interview
The Personal Interview at IIM Ranchi takes place for at least 10-15 minutes but can be longer depending upon the panel, whether they are satisfied or not.
- PI Process - The PI procedure will be carried out digitally, and details will be provided when the time is appropriate. The shortlisted candidates will be notified in due course of the precise dates for the same.

IIM Ranchi Reservation Policy
For admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs), IIM Ranchi shall follow the Government of India's reservation policy. The Indian Institute of Management Ranchi would have the last say in whether to identify a program as eligible for an academic diversity score.
IIM Ranchi maintains the right, at any time, to add, edit, or remove any content in the admissions criteria document for the PGP program, including any shortlisting and selection criteria.
