Question 89

The measures of the four angles of a quadilateral are in the ratio 3:4:5:6. What is the measure of the biggest angle?

Solution

Let the four angles of the quadrilateral be $$3x , 4x , 5x$$ and $$6x$$

Sum of internal angles of a quadrilateral = 360°

=> $$3x + 4x+5x+6x = 360$$°

=> $$18x=360$$°

=> $$x=\frac{360}{18}=20$$°

$$\therefore$$ Biggest angle = $$6x=6\times20=120$$°

=> Ans - (A)
