Solution

Total marks of 45 students = 45 $$\times$$ 65 = 2925

Replacing 84 by 48 in the data, => Total marks = 2925 - 84 + 48 = 28897

=> Correct average = $$\frac{2889}{45} = \frac{321}{5} = 64.2$$
